Difficult Conversations = Effective Leadership

We build or destroy our key relationships, teams and organisations one vital conversation at a time, yet research shows that only 1 in 10 people have the ability to engage in these difficult conversations.

Handling these crucial conversations and managing conflict is a defining quality of an exceptional leader, but these skills are invariably missing from leadership and management development programmes. Vital conversations takes a fundamentally different approach by looking at the underlying mindset required to drive behaviour that is authentic and deep rooted in integrity. The compass principles that underpin this approach are: Transparency, curiosity, compassion, accountability, collaboration. Having grasped this in how we think about other people and their conversations delegates then work through with a World class facilitator integrity based behaviours that give them enough confidence to handle the complexity that is usually found in difficult conversations.
